Ladera STARS PTA helps our school be the best it can be by assisting in providing the funds for specialist teachers such as garden, maker space, creative rotations, and more as well as provides for fun educational assemblies, field trips, & family fun events. The way the PTA is able to do this is through volunteers.

Volunteering in the PTA is not mandatory when you become a member. However, the more hands the less the work and the better events we can put on for our wonderful school and dragon families. It really is a great way to get involved in our school community and helps our school foster the caring supportive family type environment we are hoping to achieve for our kids. ALL STUDENTS BENEFIT and it really lets OUR WHOLE SCHOOL COMMUNITY THRIVE! And the bottom line is; No parents, no PTA. No PTA, no support for our school. In a world where schools are getting less and less support on the state and national levels we can't let this happen. 

Luckily, there are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved throughout the year. So volunteer for as little or as much as you want as there are both large and small roles to play! Can't volunteer? That's ok too. There are other ways to help outside volunteering. Some people help by donating money instead of time and thats needed too. Any which way you help, its all very much appreciated!
